Redoing Chimney Crowns

The chimney crown — the cement cap on top of the stack — shields the flue and brickwork from rain. A cracked crown lets water seep inside, causing spalling bricks and damp patches on ceilings below. TTJ Contracts removes the old crown entirely, builds a new one with reinforced mortar, and shapes it so water runs off away from the stack. We can also fit a new chimney pot or cowl at the same time if required.
